RITSUDESIGN
RETROFUTURA FOREVER
RITSUDESIGN is a design practice and solo artist business with humble beginnings as RICOGRAPHIC. As one of the original name choices for my design alias, I revived it in 2024 to reflect my real passions and interests, as well as to highlight what name I identify with the most.
Graphic designer, crazy guitarist, serious gamer, tactical enthusiast, anime and vtuber fan, 1980s music otaku, and last but not least, Eurostile Extended and Geom Graphic addict.
I consider myself a graphic designer of the Swiss Style discipline, bringing a timeless modernist
aesthetic to my work. I like to focus on logos, branding and identity, as well as most other digital and print design solutions.
With a pronounced branding and identity specialization, I graduated from UNLV in 2019 with a BS in Graphic Design & Media and a minor in Anthropology. Shortly after graduation, I began my tenure with a local government institution as an in-house designer, as well as the formal establishment of my original freelancer side, RICOGRAPHIC.
I draw heavy inspiration from my main interests in life, including: militaria, music, gaming, anime... “cool” topics of that sort. One of the most prominent driving forces behind my creative work is the philosophy of “Retrofutura” — the future from the perspective of the past. I am an enthusiast of 1980s media and music, and it serves as a major influence as to how I approach design solutions: bold hyper minimalist modernism.
I make stuff for (mostly) human beings. Keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it cool.
